a series of mirror panels above the natural stone sink counters open to reveal medicine cabinet storage. continuous halogen lighting mounted onto the fixed mirror surface appears to float above the operable cabinets.  a high band of horizontal glass block allows natural light in without compromising privacy.  the generous steam shower includes a rain dome, body sprays, and shampoo bottle recesses.  a separate toilet room includes linen storage and maintains privacy for both users.  a separate air tub is located out of view.

StoneCottagePRan antique reproduction chinese style table with chinoiserie decoration has been converted to a vanity for this powder room.  the drop leaf from the table is mounted to the wall above the mirror.  glass has been cut to conform to the shaped edge of the drop leaf panel.  two vertical lacquer trim pieces have been fabricated and finished to match the table lacquer color.  the counter and flooring are onyx.

054309Rone of three similar bathrooms on the second floor of a new construction residence.  the counter and predominant floor material are navonna travertine with its buttery appearance, contrasted with walnut travertine inset borders.  the other two bathrooms have similar materials, but different floor patterns and vanity cabinet configurations.  the profile detail of the raised panels in the cabinet doors is the same as in the room doors throughout the home.  a pocket door separates the toilet and shower from the sink vanity area.  the mirror over the vanity is surrounded by bevel edged and mitered mirror border pieces.
